The 2 knives are made out of O1 steel and were heat treated at 1550 degrees Fahrenheit, they were tempered 3 times at 425 degrees for a hardness of roughly 60-62. Both knives were hand made using simple tools, with the only power tool used being a 4 inch grinder to cut the pattern, everything else was files and sand paper. Both knives will come shaving sharp guaranteed and will last a life time if treated properly. The smaller of the two knives has a white oak handle sanded down to 800 grit, and is 7 1/4" long from end of handle to tip of the blade. The larger knife is Cocobolo Dymondwood and was also sanded to a 800 grit finish and is 12 1/4" long from end of handle to the tip of the blade. Both knives are 1/8" thick along the spines.
